Maybe the character from this series will as well it’s certainly set-up that way. I know that *redacted*, from the 𝘓𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘚𝘢𝘨𝘢, is getting a series of his own to wrap up his storyline. The biggest baddies of this series got their what-fors, but I was a little disappointed that not everyone did, which led to one of my biggest disappointments with the series finale: Much like the 𝘓𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘚𝘢𝘨𝘢, not everyone gets a HEA.

They’re the heart of this series, and I think they had a good conclusion to their story arc here.

I’ve sat on this review for a few days, and I think I’ve finally gotten my thoughts together, so here goes: There 𝘞𝘈𝘚 a decent finale within this book, but unfortunately, in my opinion, the book just made a few missteps that just didn’t hit right for me. Unnecessary narrator change but good conclusion I have never been more disappointed in one of Stacey Marie Brown’s FMC‘s and I love everything she writes. No one around her seemed to call her out on them even though they were the most powerful Fae etc. She continued to make the same mistakes over and over again. Brexley never learned anything throughout this series. As a female author, I cannot understand why anyone would write their female lead as being so stupid. What plot there did seem to be was reused over and over again such as bombs as distractions.

I have no problem with spice but it seemed to be the main focus instead of an actual plot. If I heard “the gray” one more time I thought I would lose my mind. This series just felt like the author dragged it out intentionally for no reason. Many have mentioned hating the addition of the male voice which didn’t really bother me. I hated book 5 and just wished for books 6 to be over.
